Stores provide a source of funding for the Salvation Army through the sale of donated items. These are either dropped off at a collection point or picked up where pick-up service is available. Items are sorted and processed and sold in the Thrift Store and or provided to needy persons.
NOTES: Donations taken at the thrift store locations during store hours. Note that small items can be put into donations chute at any hour.
ACCEPTED: Clothing, linens, shoes, belts, purses, antiques, books, portable televisions, furniture that is clean and undamaged, lamps, pictures, kitchen items, toys and stuffed toys, dishes, bed frames and headboards, computers and microwaves newer than 2005, photocopiers
NOT ACCEPTED: Mattresses or box frames, large appliances, carpets, rugs, sofa beds, food, magazines, baby furniture, baby strollers, air conditioners, auto parts, tires, typewriters, horizontal or vertical blinds, computers older than 2005
PICKUP: Furniture pick service available by calling the nearest store for pickup information. There may be a wait of up to 4 weeks.
