Donated items from the Clothesline program are sold to Value Village to raise funds for Diabetes research, education, service and advocacy.
ACCEPTED: Used clothing, towels, draperies, toys, jewelry, linens, shoes, dishes, knick-knacks, furniture (in good condition - call first), cell phones and PDAs
NOT ACCEPTED: Construction materials, large appliances, automobile parts, damaged or soiled furniture and mattresses, waterbeds, coil springs, console or damaged stereos and TVs, swing sets, car seats, cribs, hide-a-beds, carpets (if torn or soiled, wall-to-wall), newspapers, encyclopedias, food, pets, weapons, hazardous waste, flammable products (ie. BBQs, gas lawn mowers, etc.)
PICKUP: Clothing and household items are picked up from homes in most major centres in York Region. Call 1-800-505-5525 to verify your area and arrange pickup.
